Rhythm and Rhyme

There's a poem for everything :) "I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree - A tree that looks to God all day and lifts her leafy arms to pray - Poems are made by fools like me, but only God can make a tree." Joyce Kilmer "Tattoo was the mother of Pinkle Purr, an adventurous cat with coal-black fur." AA Milne "Sleep, that knits up the ravel'd sleave of care." Shakespeare (OK, that one's a stretch. Find me a poem that mentions pins that isn't Sleeping Beauty.) "The old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not touched by the frost." JRR Tolkien "A bear, however hard he tries, grows tubby without exercise. He gets what exercise he can by falling off the ottoman, but generally seems to lack the energy to clamber back." AA Milne "Now we behold the embers flee about the firelit hearth; and see our faces painted as we pass, like pictures, on the window glass." Robert Louis Stevenson "Clean cups, clean cups!" Lewis Carrol (commemorating the opening of a new Arsaga's Cafe, this one in Springdale!)
